CA DEI FRATI
Lugana Brolettino DOC
The Cá dei Frati winery has existed since 1939. This emerges from a document that "reports on a house with a cellar in Lugana, which in Sirmione is called the place of the friars", which has been known since 1782. In 1939, Felice Dal moved Cero, the son of Domenico, who was a winemaker in Montecchia di Crosara in Verona, came to this house in Lugana di Sirmione and understood from the beginning the vocation of the area in viticulture. After thirty years of work in the vineyard and in the cellar, his son Pietro accepted took part in the creation of the DOC and began to fill his first label of the Lugana Casa dei Frati, later Ca 'dei Frati. In 2012, Pietro Dal Cero passed away, who was responsible for the cultural heritage of his wife Santa Rosa and the children Igino, Gian Franco and Anna Maria, who continued to run the company with the same passion and determination.
