Blends well with: Great in most blends, gives them a spirited note, While helping them to last longer.The citrus oils, giving them a base note that very nicely complements them. It’s a nice masculine note to add to aphrodisiac blends. Nice also with rosemary, chamomile,eucalyptus, cinnamon, frankincense, rose, jasmine, rosemary, sandalwood, hyssop, sage and many more.
External Application:
Compresses for the treatment of skin diseases; mix 5 drops of Cedarwood oil with 1/4 litre of warm water and soak a towel / cloth in it... this has a calming effect on the skin.
Add to sitz bath (warm shallow bath that cleanses private parts) as well!
Blended with alcohol as an insect repellent (rub it onto your body)as a moth repellent in cupboards and wardrobes,oily hair, dandruff, hair loss (detoxifying scalp and hair roots)
Blended with a base oil: Skin rashes, acne, oily skin.
Cedar wood is used to give men's perfumes their characteristic final note.
Internal Application:
1 drop of Cedarwood oil mixed with honey has a calming, expectorant (with infections of the respiratory tracts), stimulating and anti-inflammatory effect with urinary infections (bladder and kidney infections - cystitis).
In the Diffuser:
The balsamic-woody fragrance has a calming effect when we find ourselves in a nervous and hot-up condition. It offers sensitive people a protective shield. Reduces fear, aggression, anger. Very beneficial on bronchial system (inhalation). Insect repellent (just like eucalyptus, geranium, clove or cypress)
SPECIFIC SAFETY ADVICE
This is not cedrus atlantica and should be used internally only with caution. Also avoid if pregnant or epileptic.
