Hand-picked, strictly selected grapes, temperature-controlled for 18 days, without stems, mash-fermented and chaptalized. Malolactic fermentation, aging and aging in new and used barriques for 17 months. Frühburgunder is a mutation of Pinot Noir and thus its own grape variety. It has been known for over 200 years and is currently cultivated on approx. 250 hectares in Germany. The Frühburgunder is very sensitive during the growing season, very sensitive to flowers and low-yielding. That's why it's not particularly popular with winemakers. The wines are expressive with great aromas and a lot of play in the mouth and on the palate. Frühburgunder is a diva that evokes euphoric enthusiasm.
