The name Mimori‚ can be traced back to three different wooden barrels in which this excellent Japanese whisky was stored. Mimori is a Japanese word and essentially means: Three woods. These are ex-bourbon barrels, former sherry casks and barrels made from Japanese Mizunara oak. The vatting here is 100% malt whisky. The composition of the woods gives this whisky a rich flavor profile with flavors of sweet grains and malty dried fruits. The finish is rounded off with a pleasingly light touch of smoke and honey
