Patchouli Essential Oil, Therapeutical Grade
Fragrance: Earthy, sweet and balmy, spicy and aromatic
Perfumery Note: Base
Blends well with: Geranium, rose, citrus oils, vetiver, sandalwood, cedar wood, clove, neroli, black pepper, clary sage, ginger, frankincense, lavender and myrrh.
External Application:
Mixed with vegetable oil (5-7 drops of patchouli oil to 10 ml of vegetable oil) for the treatment of: Eczema, acne, seborrhoea, insect bites, badly healing wounds and grazes, skin allergies and chapped skin, haemorrhoids (dab the affected areas after each bowel movement), athlete's foot, as an aphrodisiac (the ideal massage oil for intimate hours)
With greasy hair or dandruff add 6 drops of patchouli oil to the required amount of shampoo.
Mixed with alcohol (7 drops to 10ml of spirits), patchouli oil can be used in cupboards and wardrobes as an anti-moth spray.
Application in Cosmetics: The moisturizing, cell-regenerating and antiseptic qualities of patchouli oil make it especially suitable for the care of ageing, dry and brittle skin.
Internal Application:
2-3 drops of patchouli oil mixed with herbal tea act as an anti-depressant, lower temperatures and help with skin complaints. In addition this remedy has antiseptic, calming, stimulating, cell- regenerating and rehydrating properties.
Mix patchouli oil with tea tree oil for a mouth wash for mouth infections or in a douche solution for vaginal infections.
In the Diffuser:
Helps against depressions, aphrodisiac, for intimate hours in privacy.

A skin patch test should be conducted prior to using any oil. Essential oils may attack plastics and varnished surfaces! And here’s another fact that most of us would be rather unaware of... many essential oils are highly flammable!
