The Penderyn Portwood is a
Penderyn fans. It is aged in ex-bourbon barrels and
finished in ex-port wine casks. This expression
brings to mind of a rich, fruit cake with a dark
chocolate base.
Penderyn Portwood is bottled at 46% abv.
Tasting notes:
Nose: Aromas of rich dried fruits with dark
chocolate and cranberries. A hint of toasty oak
mingles with baked nutty dryness.
Palate: A creamy richness with some honey and spiced notes emerging.
Finish: Smooth with a soft oak and honey
sweetness lingering gently on the tongue.
