Blends well with:
Frankincense, lavender, clary sage, basil, thyme, cedar wood, lemon, bergamot, chamomile, nutmeg, cardamom, ginger, grapefruit, orange, peppermint and many more.
External Application:
As massage oil (5-7 drops of rosemary oil to 10ml of vegetable oil) for the treatment of: Rheumatic complaints, muscular pains, arthritis, the ideal massage oil for the stressed manager, low blood pressure (add a mixture of rosemary, lemongrass and grapefruit to a shower gel)
As a compress (put 5-7 drops of rosemary oil into a bowl of hot water, soak an absorbent piece of cloth in it, wring it out and apply it) for small burns; inflammations; grazes
Add a few drops (7-10) to a full bath as a pre-menstrual bath, when under stress, when exhausted.
As an inhalant (mixes very well with eucalyptus and peppermint) for treating asthma, bronchitis and dry coughs.
Susanne Fischer-Rizzi writes: Rosemary stimulates the central nervous system-strengthening mental clarity and awareness. The oil may be mixed with other essential oils that stimulate the mind-lemongrass, verbena, lemon, grapefruit, hyssop. In ancient times healers recognized the obvious memory-enhancing quality of this oil. Students in ancient Greece and Rome wore rosemary wreaths on their heads when in their studies. Rosemary also aids concentration and centering and is often used in meditation.
Application in Cosmetics:
Rosemary oil stimulates the circulation and is antiseptic and cell- regenerating. This makes it especially suitable for oily skin that is prone to circulatory problems. In hair care rosemary oil is used against the loss of hair and dandruff. Gives dark hair a nice shine!
Internal Application:
2-3 drops of rosemary oil added to a teaspoon of honey or some herbal tea stimulate the heart, liver, gall and menstruation and lower the cholesterol level and blood sugar. In addition it acts as a stomachic tonic which is antiseptic, sudorific, diuretic, analgesic, antispasmodic and cures flatulence. Helps with circulatory problems, faintness, gout, rheumatism, tiredness in the morning, liver complaints, digestion problems, diarrhoea, impotence and anaemia.
In the Diffuser:
For mental exhaustion, stimulates the memory, gives you a feeling of mental clarity.

Avoid if you are epileptic, pregnant or have high blood pressure. Do not use in high dosage and avoid direct contact with eyes!
