Tea Tree Essential Oil, Therapeutical Grade
Fragrance: Fresh, aromatic, spicy, medicinal
Perfumery Note: Top/Middle
Blends well with: Lavender; essential oils of spices like clove, nutmeg etc., citrus oils, rosemary, geranium, marjoram and clary sage, cinnamon, cypress, eucalyptus, chamomile, ginger and thyme.
External Application:
Mixed with vegetable oil (3 drops of tea tree oil to 10ml of vegetable oil)
For the treatment of chicken pox; for the treatment of shingles; as a facial cleanser against acne and impure skin; As a massage oil after operations (do not touch the wound itself!)it helps to reduce the post-operative shock; Yeast infections (candida albicans and trichomoniasis); local anesthetic after shocks, hits; Veterinary medicine.
Mixed with alcohol (3-5 drops to 10ml of spirits): As a rub for the treatment of athlete's foot and ringworm in the bath water when suffering from colds (stimulates perspiration). As an air-purifier; anti-bacterial and anti-viral
Applied in its pure form:
A drop of tea tree oil on a wart (cover it with a plaster after dabbing it) makes it disappear after a few weeks; dabbed onto insect bites, spider bites, bee stings, tea tree oil helps to get rid of the irritation
Application in Cosmetics:
Tea tree oil is suitable for the daily care of acne, skin irritation, dandruff, loss of hair and eczema. Its calming and antiseptic effect is especially beneficial to irritated and inflamed skin, rashes, soreness, fungul infections, seborrhoea, psoriasis.
Internal Application:
2-3 drops of tea tree oil in a glass of herbal tea prevent infections and have a sudorific, healing and germicidal effect. Tea tree oil is used for intestinal infections, fungal infections, infectious diseases and respiratory complaints, it’s a immune stimulant and antiparasitic, including roundworms.
In the Diffuser:
When suffering from lack of concentration and decision; for the disinfection of sick-rooms; ear, nose and throat infections.

Essential oils are potent plant extracts! Do not take any oils internally without consultation from a qualified medical practitioner. Keep all essential oils securely out of child’s reach. Do not apply undiluted to the skin. Always avoid mucous membranes and eyes. If you are pregnant or have any medical problem, use oils only under the proper guidance of a qualified medical practitioner. Use extreme caution when using oils for children and use only the gentlest oils at very low concentrations; it is safest to consult a qualified medical / aromatherapy practitioner. A skin patch test should be conducted prior to using any oil. Essential oils may attack plastics and varnished surfaces! And here’s another fact that most of us would be rather unaware of... many essential oils are highly flammable!
